RUNAWAYS Updates
Confirmed milestones · betaRUNAWAYS is in early access. supercat games does not run a public changelog page, but the developer posts update logs on the official Discord announcements channel — UPDATE 1 was announced there on 2026-08-22. This timeline lists milestones we can confirm: the Roblox API created and updated timestamps, facts verified on the official game page, and developer-published patch notes. Anything else is marked "inferred" and needs in-game testing.
UPDATE 5 — weather system, smuggling quest & Saturday Admin Abuse
The developer (emile) posts the UPDATE 5 log on the official Discord announcements channel (2026-09-19): a weather system with rain, thunderstorms and tornadoes; a smuggling quest — find the suspicious guy, take his briefcase across the border and earn extra Credz; Admin Abuse now runs every Saturday with a global Credz multiplier, item rain and free cash, plus 10+ secret items exclusive to those events; invite up to 15 friends for 500 Credz per friend per day; a new T-1000 skin (Tornado Chaser); NPCs smile when you look at them peacefully; improved UI navigation; and 40+ bug fixes. A follow-up post clarifies Admin Abuse does not hurt progression — it spawns meme weapons and test NPCs so everyone can try the game the way the devs do. The team also notes it learned a lot at RDC and is scaling up from 3 people with help from friends, so future updates should get bigger.
UPDATE 4 — 2 new classes, more items & locations
The developer (emile) posts the UPDATE 4 log on the official Discord announcements channel (2026-09-12): two new classes — Pro-Gamer and Mafia Don; many new locations — Radio station, car wash, shooting range, self-storage facility, camping and road construction; new items including oil barrels, heavy explosive and shotgun ammo boxes, plus many secret items and two new secret weapons; garage doors can now be opened and closed; the ability to throw stuff (hold X); new REVENTADOR and T-1000 car skins, and the G-Truck now seats 6 players; and 30+ bug fixes. Car skins shipped in UPDATE 3, so this reads as a preview of a new camo design; whether and when it lands is not stated — treat as a teaser for now.
UPDATE 3 — new code BOTCHER, 4 new locations & career menu
The developer (emile) posts the UPDATE 3 log on the official Discord announcements channel (2026-09-05): new code BOTCHER for 2,500 Credz; four new locations — Butcher shop, Sushi shop, Electronics store and a Parcel office; two new machines (vending and coffee machines); new items including steaks, ribs, coffee, sushi, ramen, canned food and packages with random value, plus some secret items and weapons; a new career menu that tracks which items and locations you have found; paintings finally hang on walls; car skins; a new end screen; and 50+ bug fixes. Sneak — gas station robbery gameplay preview
The developer posts a silent gameplay clip on the official Discord #update-sneaks channel (2026-09-02, no caption): first-person robbing of a gas station — a "Rob a Gas Station" mission tracking 0/1, a "Steal the loot! 3 items left" prompt with a 7/10 bag, a "Fuel your car 0/60" task, witnesses alerting police with a "POLICE BACKUP IN: 6:59" countdown, Murder/Vandalism charges in the feed, and a state progress bar running Kansas / Oklahoma / Texas / Mexico. Whether this lands in the next update is not stated — treat as a preview until it ships.
UPDATE 2 — Bounty system, 6-player cars & truck stops
The developer (emiletrep) posts the UPDATE 2 log on the official Discord announcements channel (2026-08-29): a BOUNTY SYSTEM that pays extra cash for hunting down criminals; seat capacity raised to 6 players (Chunkmover 5, T1000 6); gifting of one-use items; CHICKEN BUCKETS sometimes findable in the KLC; a new Truck stops location; two new Credz cars (GR8R and G-Truck) plus the Robux-exclusive Fastbacker; car camos; more gun damage; car paints now owned so switching back to a previous color is free; and a new Bounty Hunter skin bundle — from now on bundles are tied to a class.
UPDATE 1 — Quests, Daily Rewards, codes & rebalance
The developer (emiletrep) posts the UPDATE 1 log on the official Discord announcements channel (2026-08-22): Daily Quests that earn credz plus free loadout items; Daily Rewards on login; a credz rebalance (most expensive items ~half price, slightly higher earnings); HONK HONK horns (press H); a new Trailer home on the map; a Redeem Codes option in the shop with the first code SUPERCAT; more forgiving fuel/nozzle targeting; items with no action now let you punch; more cash from ATMs, safes, mailboxes and trash; collateral sniper bullets with more damage; and a big lobby UI/UX pass. Released 2026-08-21 UTC per the Roblox games API (updated 2026-08-21T23:57Z) and announced to players on 2026-08-22.
Mid-August update window
Roblox lists a meaningful update timestamp for RUNAWAYS [beta] around 12 August 2026. Exact patch contents are not published by the developer, so treat balance details as unverified until tested in-game. Official description, controls and the rob → pawn → vault → police → border loop are unchanged.
RUNAWAYS Beta Release announced
The supercat games group posts the Beta Release announcement: "It's finally OUT! In RUNAWAYS, you and your friends are trying to escape the country! Steal valuable items, sell them for cash, and buy gas to keep your car moving. But be careful, the police are always on your tail." Date is inferred (~1 week before 2026-08-16 from the group post).
Game launched (beta)
RUNAWAYS [beta] by supercat games goes live on Roblox (Place 118418618261207, Universe 7585140258). The game launches as an early-access crime escape with 50-player servers, cars, guns and the rob-to-border loop.
