RUNAWAYS Items, Tools & Loot Guide
RUNAWAYS is early beta and supercat games has not published an official item list. This page collects every item, tool and mechanic actually observed in gameplay footage or reported by players, with each source labeled. Nothing here is invented — missing items are missing because nobody has documented them yet.
Confirmed via gameplay footage [Fact: AccelToWin gameplay, 2026-08-16]
| Item / system | What was seen |
|---|---|
| Car (owned, permanent) | Cars are purchased permanently and have health — “our car health is 77” after a chase |
| Gas | Fuel is bought at gas stations (~$15 per unit in beta); running out strands you |
| Guns & bullets | Guns are bought in the shop; bullets can be sold; reload (R) and attachments (Q) exist |
| Lootable houses | You can enter houses, mug people and steal items like laptops |
| “Steal 5 items” objective | The first run asks you to steal five items |
| Search area | Police spawn a search area — leaving it (“You left the search area”) matters |
| Charges | Getting caught or crashing adds charges (hit-and-run, bombing, etc.) |
| Classes | Locked behind cash (see the Classes guide) |
| Shop items seen | credits, bundles, RPG, Mac — seen in the shop UI |
| Drink item | A drinkable item exists; in the footage it did not restore health (possible bug or item variant) |
Reported by players [Community source, unverified]
| Item | Player report |
|---|---|
| Toolboxes | A player complains “Toolboxes are way too rare” — used to break things |
| Gas canisters | “Gas canisters need to be found at houses and such” — fuel can be found, not just bought |
| Customs | A checkpoint area before the border (“They chased me to the next stop after customs”) |
| Border crossing | Crossing into Mexico may involve getting shot at — one player asks if passing the border illegally is required |
Official vehicles (gamepasses)
The five vehicle gamepasses are the only officially documented cars — each with official Speed/Acceleration/Handling/Armor stats. See the Gamepasses pages:
- Chunk Mover (79 R$) — balanced budget car
- Charged (299 R$) — best acceleration, no armor
- T1000 (799 R$) — mid-tier with light armor
- Reventador (999 R$) — fastest, best handling, no armor
- Floppy Truck (1499 R$) — the armored hauler (armor 4)
Pending verification
- Exact names and stats of in-game guns and tools (official list not published)
- Prices of guns, tools and classes
- What the “RPG” and “Mac” shop items actually are
- Whether the drink item heals (footage showed no heal — possibly a bug)
- The full border/customs mechanics
When supercat games publishes an official item list (Discord or group announcement), this page will be rebuilt around it.
